Marylanders love their OLD BAY. That's why they steam their shrimp in OLD BAY then toss the cooked shrimp in additional OLD BAY. Now that's finger licking good shrimp cocktail.
1 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
5 tablespoons divided Old Bay Seasoning
2 pounds large to jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined leaving tails on
2 cups Old Bay Cocktail Sauce
Mix water vinegar and 4 tablespoons of the OLD BAY in large saucepan. Bring to boil on medium heat.
Gently stir in shrimp; cover. Steam 2 to 3 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink. Drain well.
Toss shrimp with remaining 1 tablespoon OLD BAY. Serve with cocktail sauce.
